Eucalyptuses, camphor trees, cypresses, palm-trees, magnolias, banana-trees, bamboos - ordinary plants in the streets of Sochi - 25,000,000 years ago were also ordinary for Middle Europe. In the European subtropics of the Mediterranean and the Black Sea Coast they were artificially restored. The first trees were planted in Sochi more than a hundred years ago, and nowadays the former exotic plants have become wild and grow everywere.
